Real 3d experience in Myst world!

The best quest Ive ever played, I know him ever since the 3DO To be continued?

Played classic and realMyst on PC many times. This version is slightly different from realMyst for PC and has given me pleasure to explore Myst ages once again and find something new. Of course there are some glitches but they are minor and surely will be fixed sooner or later. iPad is really convenient to play such games. Looking forward to seeing all of Myst series on it. I think Uru would look especially nice.

This game crashes continuously on my iPad mini ! Major letdown in expectations after reading reviews on web.

Its a great game, but we want the italian translation with subtitles.

Once I turn the marker switch by the clock on, I cannot turn it off again and thus cannot complete the game. Grrrrr!

Hmm, most of the "its too hard" complaining seems to be coming from Millenials who played The Room, but never the original Myst. While a beautiful game in its own right, The Room is brief and really quite easy. I think it took me maybe an hour or two. Myst is hard because Myst WAS hard. The reward lay in the journey - not having the Internet to provide a walkthrough, you had to earn it through logic and attention to detail. Becoming angry enough to spit was part of Myst/Riven/Exile, until you had a brainstorm and plowed through. Cyan, if youre listening, keep making HARD games for us old fogies! (Which I guess is now 30+ haha)

This is one of the best games there is. Few games are as immersive. The game doesnt hold your hand; it lets you explore the island your character has unexpectedly fallen into at your own pace. To solve Myst, you need to set aside time, slow down and observe. The connections are there to be made if you pay attention.

Remember to restart your iPad after you install this game, otherwise the game will crash!! I rebooted my device and now the game runs smoothly!! Remember to reboot your iPad to be safe!! If you still need help, dont forget to click on "App Support" for more info!!

Every time I try to link back to Myst from Spaceship age, the game crashes. Frustrating to be unable to finish the game after many hours of play

The most recent iOS update made this game not work. Please fix it.

My mom has told me so many great things about the pc version, so of course i wanted to play this game (i had also finished the room puzzle game series, and wanted something more challenging.) so i deleted a TON of stuff of of my ipad to download this huge game, and right when it finally loaded, i opened the app and it crashed at linking. I dont want to sound mean or anything, but Cyan Worlds BETTER be coming up with an update for this, because $6.99 is not cheap for an app. In my opinion, this would just take a bunch of unsuspecting people and just steal six bucks from them. CYAN, YOU NEED TO UPDATE THIS APP VERY BADLY!

Lemme see. Turn off the boiler, do a 180, get to the door (which was open in the PC version), wait for the program to link, get outside, go hard left, find the steps, get to them, get up the steps and watch the last half of the elevator disappear. Never able to get there in time. Unplayable.

Enjoying RealMYST on iPad Air after living thru all the ages on PC over a decade ago. A couple walkthroughs online can help get you thru if you get stuck, but its great to go back to another world as an escape for the craziness of the realWorld we live in :-)

Really great reboot of a classic, but controls seem unintuitive and frustrating. A two joystick, fps style approach would make the game perfect.

I love this game. I played it years ago when it first came out and I was so excited to see this for an iPod. But now somehow I have fallen off a walkway in the mechanical world and I am stuck under the island! Im very frustrated. I have restarted the game and my iPad several times. There are no updates for this app and I do not want to reinstall the game and lose everything. Any suggestions?

After playing the very early computer games, Myst was what brought me back. I played the 5 original Myst games on PC when they were new and loved them all. I dont know how many times Ive searched for Myst Like Games and though Ive found quite a few good ones, Myst is still the reference. Great visuals and sound as game elements, interesting story, deception, persistence. While I cant say the iPad version is better than the originals, it was good enough to earn 5 stars and bring back the enjoyment I had some twenty years ago. Now, on to re-explore Riven.

Its just like how I remembered only better. Love this game. Long game with very challenging puzzles. The ambient sound is amazing and adds so much to the experience. This game is like comfort food for the brain.

I got through the whole game, except for when you have to flip all the marker switches but the one on the dock...which means I have to flip the one by the clock. I was able to flip it up before, but now I cant flip it back down. Theres some wall or something that wont register that Im close enough to work the switch. I can technically finish it by using a walk through, but this really bummed me out...it needs to be fixed otherwise anyone trying to complete the game without a guide wont be able to.
