Does not work properly in IOS9

The linking books to the different worlds do not work and therefore you can not progress through the game. Waste of money till this issue is resolved.

Great, but needs polishing

Finally able to play realMyst on my iPhone! This classic is still immersive and beautiful after so many years. If youre fan of Myst series youll instantly fall in love with it. If youre new to the series, this is a great moment to start. Theres some stuttering and frequent loading issues to overcome, but not experience-ruining stuff.

Lovely game

Thrilled the developer fixed the error that was making the game unusable. I highly recommend this for any puzzle aficionados.

Review from my 6 year old daughter -- best game ever!

Myst is the best game ever! I love it. (6 year old daughter) Note: I played Myst with my 6 year old daughter, and as she says she loved it! We played over a few weekends, and she ended up solving 80% of the puzzles. There was only two puzzles she needed help with -- compass/telescope in the Stoneship age, and the elevator in the Mechanical age.

Awesome

Keep Myst alive! Keep the series coming!

Eh

Graphics are amazing but its a royal pain to get around. Im a click and take me there immediately kind of person. Not a very intuitive type of game. I can see why expert puzzlers may enjoy it, though.

not fun

wish there was a money back guarantee, downloaded before a 14 hour plane ride and ended up watching dumb movies

Return to Myst

Immersive, beautiful, and retains the feeling and atmosphere the original game created. The visuals are sharp and the sound is great. There are a few things that could use polishing though. Loading areas during gameplay takes a smidgen out of the atmosphere while playing the game. And the controls take a bit to get used to. I was expecting controls like first person shooters on here have, or a point and click option. Despite these few flaws, this new version of Myst is very well crafted.

Disappointing

The controls are horrible you have to hold your finger on the screen to move in any direction which unfortunately obscures your view of the the graphics. The movement is also a bit jerky and delayed in parts. Disappointing.

Fun. A few problems, but excellent!

I remember playing the PC game almost 20 years ago. It was fun then.... Its fun now. A few problems with sound and navigation.

Not as good as the computer version

I love the Myst series. Great puzzles, great interaction with the enviroment, etc. But the iOS versions as not a good portrail of how good this company and this series really are. Because of the size of the game, it lags really bad, each time you move you have to wait10-20 seconds for the screen to become clear. The controls are appropriate if you have a mouse, but push screen is difficult as I frequently got moved to a different area because something that needed to be interacted with was too close to the place you push to walk. I was excited when I saw these in the app store, but the quality just isnt there when compared to the old PC games.

I like it...

Nothing by beats the original game but i do love the ability to move around rather than the point and click. However, he controls could be better. Perhaps a "joystick" icon to control.

Got ripped off

Charged $7.99 when $3.99 was listed by the app publisher. No way that should have happened. Going to share this with anyone who may be interested in this deception perpetrated by the publisher.

No Sound

I looked on the app website and the directions there were most unhelpful. Anyone else having an issue?
